On Saturday night, 06/29/2024, at approximately 9:23 pm, BHC Deputies responded to a robbery at the Elite Fuel Mart at Elk Run Road and Independence Avenue. A black male subject, dressed in dark clothing and a black mask, robbed the gas station attendant and fled with money from the cash register.
The suspect was driving a silver Chevrolet Equinox with Iowa plates OJK624. On Sunday morning, a Clinton County Sheriff's deputy on routine patrol spotted the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop, being assisted by the Clinton Police Department.
Black Hawk County deputies worked along with Clinton County deputies and a search warrant was executed on the vehicle. The Clinton County Sheriff's Office arrested Revar Ephraim Harrell, age 45, of Waterloo, for Possession of a Firearm as a Felon and he is incarcerated at the Clinton County Jail.
An arrest warrant has been issued in Black Hawk County for Harrell for 2nd degree Robbery, he will be extradited to Black Hawk County at the appropriate time.
