The Office of the Iowa Medical Examiner has conducted an autopsy on the person who died on a sandbar on the Cedar River on 03/09/2024.  The person has been identified as Daniel Van Brocklin, age 23, of Raymond.  The cause of death is still pending final results of the autopsy, which is expected in 6-8 weeks.
