One Injured in Single Motorcycle Crash on Raymond Rd
On July 2, 2022, at approximately 10:54 AM, The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a report of an accident involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Raymond Road. The motorcycle, a 2005 Harley Davidson was traveling southbound on Raymond Road. The driver of the motorcycle, Dempsy Birchard, age 35 of Westgate lost control of the motorcycle. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Allen Hospital by Evansdale Ambulance. The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Raymond Fire Department.
